The Southern California Mobilehome Owners Alliance (SCMOA) is a community advocacy group for mobilehome owners based in Southern California, which includes the cities below and surrounding unincorporated areas:
The mission of the Southern California Mobilehome Owners Alliance (SCMOA) is to serve as a vehicle to promote mobile home owners interests.
It seeks to promote representation in government entities, to protect the legal rights of park residents, to improve the quality of life in mobile home parks, and to preserve park residents’ equity in their mobile homes.
The SCMOA works to these ends, as well as to promote the health, safety, and welfare of mobile home owners, through community organizing, legal enforcement, legislative advocacy, representation, and financial organizing toward eventual resident ownership.
We do NOT dispense legal advice, however, several of our members are extremely knowledgeable in areas of state mobilehome law, under California’s Title 25 and the Mobilehome Residency Law (MRL).
