South Bay Mobilehome Resident’s Alliance

The South Bay Mobilehome Resident’s Alliance (SBMRA) is a community advocacy group for mobilehome owners based in the South Bay of California, which includes the cities below and surrounding unincorporated areas:

SBMRA Mission

The mission of the South Bay Mobilehome Resident’s Alliance (SBMRA) is to serve as a vehicle to promote mobile home owners interests.

It seeks to promote representation in government entities, to protect the legal rights of park residents, to improve the quality of life in mobile home parks, and to preserve park residents’ equity in their mobile homes.

The SBMRA works to these ends, as well as to promote the health, safety, and welfare of mobile home owners, through community organizing, legal enforcement, legislative advocacy, representation, and financial organizing toward eventual resident ownership.

We do NOT dispense legal advice, however, several of our members are extremely knowledgeable in areas of state mobilehome law, under California’s Title 25 and the Mobilehome Residency Law (MRL).

Some of us sit on a city commission overseeing requested space rent increases allowed under our city’s rent control ordinance. We welcome any and all questions on those topics and more, even if you do not reside in the South Bay area.
